Slow improvement

River had another fight with Daddy yesterday when Mommy's out with grandma. She cried for a long time, both Daddy and grandpa could only get her to drink half oz in 1 hour. But yesterday's noon, Mommy was able to get her to finish 3oz without crying. It seems like when she's about to fall asleep empty stomach, she's more willing to accept the rubbery taste. Today is a 3-course meal, total 2 oz. First half oz was a fight, second half oz Mommy spoon fed. Last 1 oz, Mommy insert the plastic nipple into her mouth right when she falls asleep. So hard!

my sister had the same problem when her son was transition from breast to nipple. however as soon as he started going to the nanny's house, he switched like no problem at all! they figured the baby must know "mom mom is around, i don't want bottle" but when he goes to the nanny's house, there were no other choices, so he just took whatever he could have. i think she said maybe the first week he struggled more (actually more of the content then the type of container, because she also switched him to formula at the same time) I think babies knows the difference of mom's chest and daddy's chest, if grandma tried maybe River will take it better than from daddy's. (if you do it, she can smell you and will refuse bottle because what to have the fake one when the real one is there?) Good luck!!
